Benchmark for air ambulance COVID-19 care

Setting the benchmark for air ambulance COVID-19 care Universal Air Evac has always been committed to offering the highest standards of care for all patients and has implemented stringent COVID-19 protocols onboard each evacuation flight to ensure safety and peace of mind. Our policy is to transport each COVID-19 patient on their own, which guarantees they receive dedicated care and one-on-one attention from a team of highly experienced doctors and paramedics throughout. Before takeoff, every flight is equipped with at least 7 000 liters of oxygen, and oxygen levels and patient breathing are continuously assessed during the flight through non-invasive monitoring and portable blood chemistry analysis. While our number one priority is always the wellbeing of the patient, we understand the worry that family and loved ones experience and we do our best to ensure they are kept updated during the evacuation. From equipping our medical crew and pilots with internationally recommended protective gear to vigorously disinfecting all medical equipment for each patient, no detail is overlooked in providing the best care for those on our flights. Our care doesn't stop on the tarmac either, with the medical crew accompanying the patient to the receiving hospital.
